One of those days

Today was one of those days. You know, the blue ones. I ended up being not only unproductive, but well, bad head space. Girlie stayed home sick today. Sore throat and hurting stomach. But she will be going back to school tomorrow. It snowed today–a heavy, thick storm–that lasted about 15 minutes and promptly melted off. The neighbor’s roof was steaming after.

Don’t forget to put in your nomination for next book club read. Come on! You know you want to join in! It’s an excuse to read fun books!

I get to see the man in about 3 weeks. It will have been 3 months at that point.

In the meantime, the dogs have decided it’s time to shed, with great enthusiasm.

I’ve been working on revising. Cutting and changing things. Tell me, what do you imagine when you read the word: torlynx? It’s an animal.

Help me out here. Tell me what pops into your head.

    Hi there Di,
Hope Girlie feels better and I’m glad you’re getting some face time with your guy. That kind of thing sucks.

Torlnyx: I think of a menber of the Fae (Torlnyx is his name). Unseelie, but maybe not an altogether bad guy…and wings He’s definitely got wings.

    Hope that helps 🙂

Now I gotta go google the animal…

Heh. It’s not a real animal. It’s one I’ve made up.

Yah. I figured that out shortly after I posted. I still like my idea though. Could be a future character of mine…under a different name…

Restricting my thoughts to animals, I’m thinking something like a small monkey with big, intelligent eyes and maybe a prehensile tail.

        Hope that helps

Being fond of lynxes, I would guess some sort of cat critter.

I hope you and girlie both feel better today, and that the house sells soon.
