Graveyard Shift has a great post today on cop slang. Really great for writers. Bookmark it and remember.

I got word today that it is now certain that Blood Winter will be the last Horngate book. The positive thing is that it really wraps up on a good closing note. The fact is the books aren’t selling well enough. I need to find a way to get more people to know my name and buy my books.

So now to pull my britches up and get on to writing the next thing.

Bummer on Horngate ending; it’s my favorite of your series yet. I’d recommend your books, but I don’t personally know a lot of people that read in the genres I do. (Mostly I avoid saying anything because I just get condescending looks… whatever.) I recommend to my teenagers, but they just read the books I’ve already purchased, so that doesn’t help at all. πŸ™

Time to wow us with an amazing new series, I guess?!

I found your first book in Horngate series and fell in love with the characters. I have read all three published more than 4 times each. I have the real books, I have them on my kindle. I am so very disappointed that the series will be coming to an end, it feels like a friend is dying. I hope your publishers realize they will be cutting off a series that has so much potential, but money is always the bottom line. Good luck to you and I am eagerly waiting for your next and last book for the Horngate series.
